Please follow the care & washing instructions so you can enjoy your Marso Living bedding products for many years to come.

DOWN AND FEATHER PRODUCTS

Your down duvet or pillow has been specially treated for permanent washability. Water and mild detergents cannot harm the natural contents of your product. Please follow the instructions to have a healthy duvet or pillow for a long time.

WASH
  • Always wash each piece of bedding separately
  • Select the temperature according to the care label. (from 40° to 60° C)
  • Use only mild, pH-neutral, water-based fine or wool detergent for duvets and pillows, to add fabric softener
  • Choose a washing programme with spin cycle
  • Repeat the spin cycle, because the down or feathers can absorb many times their own weight of water

DRY
  • Dry each piece of bed individually in the tumble dryer
  • Set a temperature of max 100° C (see care label)
  • Use wool dryer balls (or clean tennis balls) to speed up drying time
  • After finishing the program, check the humidity by intensively "kneading" the bed piece in cold condition (a warm bed piece usually appears dry, even if the filling is still moist)

SYNTHETIC PRODUCTS

Your duvets and pillows are made of high-quality synthetic materials. This will last longer if you take the following advice into account:

  • Synthetic duvets and pillows that are not expressly declared washable should not be washed by yourself. Bring them to a professional bedding cleaning specialist
  • Select the wash program and temperature according to the care symbols on the bed piece

SHEETS, PILLOWS & DUVET COVERS

Wash your Marso bedding in warm gentle machine wash with like colours. Line dry where possible otherwise tumble dry on low setting (ensure you do not use a high/hot setting as this will damage the fibre). Keep in mind to wash separately or with similar fabrics (do not mix with towels or other items likely to leave lint). Do not bleach or dry Clean and remember to not leave sheets on the clothesline or in direct sun for a prolonged period as natural fibers are susceptible to sun bleaching. Here’s some useful tips:

  • Rotate your sheets with 1 or 2 other sets so the same ones aren’t going back on your bed as soon as you have washed & dried them, the fabric needs rest just like yourself
  • Try your best to avoid direct contact with cosmetics or skin products not properly dried on skin (such as hair or body oil, heavy creams) as that might leave stains on the textiles
  • Do not wash with sharp-edged clothing accessories, such as metal zipper, buttons or metal hooks
