Well cared for, loved for longer.

Good sleep begins with a fresh, well-kept bed. We recommend washing your bed linen about once a week and your duvets and pillows twice a year – ideally when the seasons change. Shaking them out daily and airing them regularly keeps your bedding fresh and preserves its loft. Washing at home? Of course. Professional cleaning is possible but not necessary: a sufficiently large washing machine, a little mild liquid detergent and a spacious tumble dryer are all you need.

Good to know

Wash light and dark colours separately.
Use a little mild liquid detergent.
Do not use bleach or fabric softener.
Do not overload the drum.
Close covers and turn them inside out before washing.
Always check the care label on the product as well.

Fabric softener coats the fibres like a fine film. As a result, towels absorb less moisture, bed linen can lose its natural feel and the fillings of duvets and pillows can lose their loft.

Bed Linen

Our sateen, linen and jersey bed linen can be washed at up to 60 °C. For regular care, we recommend 40 °C on a gentle cycle for all materials. The lower temperature protects the natural fibres, the colours and the distinctive feel of your bed linen.

Bed linen dries best outdoors in the fresh air. Alternatively, it can be tumble dried at a low temperature.

Sateen and jersey can be ironed on a low setting if needed. Linen does not need ironing – its natural creased texture is part of its relaxed look. During the first three to four washes it may crease a little more. With every wash it becomes softer and more relaxed.

Folded down duvet with pillows on the bed – Marso Living

Down Duvets and Down Pillows

Wash at a maximum of 60 °C on a gentle cycle in a sufficiently large machine. Use a little mild liquid detergent and do not bleach.

Tumble dry completely at a low temperature in a large dryer with wool dryer balls. Take it out several times in between and shake it out firmly so that the down spreads evenly.

Only use or store the bedding once it is completely dry. Professional cleaning is also possible if needed.

Synthetic Duvets and Pillows

Wash at a maximum of 40 °C on a gentle cycle in a sufficiently large machine. Use a little mild liquid detergent and do not bleach.

Tumble dry completely at a low temperature and shake out in between. Avoid excessive heat. Only use or store the bedding once it is completely dry.
Professional cleaning is also possible if needed.
